Brett Farrell, Assistant Director, Marine Exchange of Alaska

Brett Farrell is the Assistant Director of the Marine Exchange of Alaska, a non-profit maritime organization in Juneau, Alaska with a mission of providing services to promote safe, secure, efficient, and environmentally responsible maritime operations in Alaska’s waters.
The Marine Exchange of Alaska has been in a partnership with AOOS since 2011 to capture and disseminate real-time environmental data. In this time, AOOS has helped fund the installation and operation of over 30 real-time weather sensors throughout Alaska, all of which are used regularly to enhance the safety of Alaska’s mariners.
